Samsung has released a limited edition Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro, paying homage to the classic 2003 phone

On October 30, Samsung officially released the Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro phone, and the new machine will be released in limited quantities in South Korea, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain and Australia on November 1.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro is a nod to the legendary 2003 SGH-E700 flip phone, a legendary product and the first phone Samsung launched with a built-in antenna. Because of its excellent design, one Norwegian newspaper called it the "Mercedes of mobile phones." The SGH-E700 played a key role in boosting Samsung's position in the mobile phone industry at a time when Nokia dominated the mobile phone market.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro has some SGH-E700 elements, such as indigo and silver color schemes, and some nostalgic pixel graphics, UI and cityscape animations on its Flex Window exterior screen.

Samsung shipped the phone in a neat box with the Z Flip5 and E700 logos, a Flipsuit case with stickers featuring logos from different eras in Samsung's history, and a Samsung E700 collectible card engraved with a unique serial number.
