Samsung Galaxy S24 and Ultra Korean phone appears on Geekbench

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series phones are expected to be released in January 2024, just a few months away, so the rumors and Revelations about the new flagship are also increasing. The new machine is now starting to appear more frequently on a number of benchmarking websites, such as Geekbench, giving us some early discernment into the performance of this next-generation flagship.

Recently, the Galaxy S24 Ultra and Korean versions of the Galaxy S24 appeared on Geekbench. As previously reported, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is likely to only carry the overclocked version of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the Galaxy S24 will use Samsung's new Exynos 2400 chipset in most markets, with only a few markets using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

IT House noted that the South Korean version of the Galaxy S24 with the Exynos 2400 chipset, model SM-S921N, scored 2,051 and 6204 single-core and multicore scores on Geekbench, respectively. In addition, the test machine comes with 8GB of memory.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 powered Galaxy S24 Ultra Korea model SM-S928N, with single-core and multicore scores of 2214 and 6744 on Geekbench, comes with 12GB of RAM. Based on these results, it looks like the Galaxy S24 Ultra Snapdragon 8 Gen 3's CPU and GPU are both 100MHz higher than the standard chipsets used by other vendors.

Of course, the current score numbers do not fully reflect the performance of Samsung's new flagship, and to truly understand their performance, you need to experience the devices for yourself. Considering the significant improvements in CPU and GPU in the new chipset, it is reasonable to expect that the new phone will have a significant improvement in performance over the previous generation, while also providing more powerful AI capabilities.

According to previous rumors, Samsung plans to launch the new Galaxy S24 series on January 17, 2024 in SAN Jose, California.
